Client Overview

Tewahedo church is a traditional Ethiopian Orthodox ministry serving the Habesha community in Northern Virginia. Tewahedo church prides itself in preserving cultural traditions and serving the community. Board members experienced issues attracting young adults to their service and events, particularly around the holiday seasons. I was contracted to create to market for the Christmas season programs and combat this issue.

Solution

As graphic designer and media consultant, I was charged with creating and distributing all graphic content for the Christmas season church program. Content was distributed via flyering, social media, group chats, the church website, and more. The campaign attracted 300+ members to attend events like the Christmas Eve service, the annual Nativity play, and volunteering event!
